Weekly Long Pose Model Sessions
Now offering even longer poses, and the option of registering for 1 to 6 sessions
Draw or paint from a live model in a long pose in a beautiful studio in San Francisco’s Mission district.
The pose is lit by a single light source: Natural north light by day, single incandescent photographer’s bulb by evening. This creates clear distinction between light and shadow, so the form is clearly revealed.
Artists reserve their place for the duration of the multi-session pose. Artists also have the option of switching positions, for creating multiple studies of one pose.
The studio is set up to be an ideal environment for creating a developed painting or drawing.
Odorless solvents and mediums only, no maroger or liquin. Easels and small tables provided.
